Chicken Salad Wrap

A simple, but delicious chicken wrap with salad and garlic mayonaise.

Ingredients

  • 1 tortilla wrap
  • 3-5 slices sliced cooked chicken
  • good handful iceberg lettuce
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 3 tblspns mayonaise
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 clove garlic
  • good grind pepper

Recipe Method

Mash the half avocado and spread it evenly over the middle of the wrap. On top of the avocado, add the sliced chicken so that the middle of the wrap is covered (leave a couple of inches round the edge).

Crush the garic and add this to the mayonaise, and mix in well. Spread the mayonaise evenly over the chicken slices.

Slice the tomatoes into thin slices, and place on top of the chicken/mayo. Shred the lettuce, then add this to the middle of the wrap. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Fold the left and right sides of the wrap in, then carefully roll the wrap (keeping the side inside, to seal the ends of the wrap). Once the wrap is full rolled, carefully wrap this in clingfilm, then twist the ends to tighten the wrap. You can now slice the wrap in the middle, and enjoy :-)
